Ellie & Kevan’s Outlook at Saddle Ridge Wedding was what a perfect Virginia Fall day was made for.
Beautiful ceremony florals by Flower Guy Bron helped set the tone. Their burgundy and cream colors popped off the backdrop of gold and orange leaves! The couple sat in front of a very elegantly decorated Sofreh Aghd, a spread of decorative items and treats symbolizing blessings for their union at their Persian wedding ceremony.
Ellie’s brother did a great job officiating over the first part of their ceremony despite struggling with a little laryngitis, and her maid of honor stepped in to beautifully officiate over the Persian ceremony—explaining the traditions to the wedding guests as she went along.
Cocktail hour was held outside as the sun set with a vintage truck serving as the bar (and the coolest prop for portraits!) The white ballroom was decorated in blush with pops of gold and burgundy.
One of my favorite moments from their reception was the Persian cake dance the couple's friends did with Kevan and Ellie before the cake-cutting. The ladies danced with the knife, teasing the groom with it until he ultimately paid them for it, and he and Ellie cut the cake before hitting the dance floor! (With Ellie in the cutest fringed party dress!)
Ellie & Kevan, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your incredible wedding day! I had a blast, and WOW, did you two have a stunning and fun day.
